My role is to help you make sense of what matters and create a plan for what comes next.
Together, we'll focus on the areas that have the biggest impact on how you feel and function: sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, energy, strength, healthy aging, and navigating the healthcare system with confidence. Working with a health coach is great way to begin your personal health journey to obtain your unique and specific goals but may not know where to start, where to find resources and are feeling stuck. Your primary physician may not have a lot of time to listen to all of your goals and help guide you on a path to support you, but a health coach will take the time to listen to your concerns and help you identify goals, strategies and solutions that work for you. What is your unique equation and how do you find it? A health coach will help you navigate the world of confusing nutritional advice to identify exactly what will work for your body and your needs in your lifestyle.

I received dual health coaching certificates. The first was from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods from some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. Some of the teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities. My second certification is from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy which is affiliated with the Institute for Functional Medicine, a leading medical program for health practitioners. Some of my teacher’s here included Dr. Mark Hyman, Medical Director at Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine, and women’s health experts Dr. Jolene Brighten and Dr. Anna Cabeca.
My education has provided me with extensive knowledge in whole food nutrition, the ability to recognize the different stages of readiness and the mind-body connection. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

During your free 15-minute phone consultation I will listen to your needs, and goals, and gauge where you are at in your own health journey. I will then have you fill out a health history form gathering information about you. From there, we will have our first session which is referred to as a foundational session. We will go through your health history form together, and talk more in-depth about your goals, and based on that I will be able to assess if 4, 8, or 12 sessions are right for you. Achieving true, sustainable change takes time. I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that we will look at how all areas of your life are connected. I do not support fad diets or quick fixes, but rather, co-piloting you on your unique health journey.

There is no one-size-fits-all health journey. There are many factors that influence a client’s readiness and willingness to change lifestyle habits that are not working. Generally, my clients start to feel better in a month or so once they’ve made a full commitment to working with me to co-create a plan.

Yes, yes, yes. As long as I am your co-pilot, I am there for you in all aspects to obtain your health and wellness goals.
